Susan Simpson

With an editorial background in children's information book publishing, Susan joined the IBLF in 1990 as Information Officer for the Communications Team. Until July 1996, she was editor and then advisor of 'Partnership Action', the newsletter linking members of the International Partnership Network. Her particular area of expertise lies in building local capacity to develop partnerships for sustainable development, involving business, public sector and civil society organizations. The region in which she has the most direct experience is Central & Eastern Europe and Russia, where she has worked with BLF members and a wide range of international and local partners to stimulate effective practical action in response to pressing social, economic and environmental problems.
